Checklist on Choosing a Venue Call many as you plan your guest list. List the venue in your budget as a "per-person" expense so you can decide on how big you wedding can be. When searching sites and taking notes, bring a camera to help you remember how you felt about each site and to recall that feeling later, when you decide at home. Be sure and take notes on any advantages and disadvantages. Once a site is selected, take the ones you didn't choose out of
the notebook and continue to make notes on the venue sheet. Review this as
the wedding day approaches.
Does the venue (including a park) have some sort of private dressing room for you and the wedding party.?
