Chapter 14
"Your Wedding Program"

Wedding programs are both practical and beautiful. They preserve forever the elements of the wedding ceremony and memorialize the names of all who participated. But more importantly, they serve as a guide for the guests, so they can feel included in the special event as they follow along.

Programs come in an endless variety of styles and numerous kinds of content. But overall, they mention some basic elements, such as:

music, lyrics, poetry, readings, vows, explanations of special religious rituals, the names of those who play a significant role in the wedding ceremony, special recognition of deceased relatives, and thanks to those who gave support.

Wedding programs can be custom printed, bought online, or even designed and made by you, using your home computer and printer. To help you decide what kind of programs you may want to commemorate your special day, we have included two sample programs.
