I , Robert, take thee, Jennifer, as my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.. This is my vow.

Jennifer, before we met I was walking through life as if in a daze. I didn’t know what life was. I didn’t know what happiness was, and I passed others by as they passed me by. It was empty. But you saw something in me that others didn’t and you showed me what life could be like. I thank God I met you, I thank God for your persistence and wisdom. I thank God for you. Please take this ring and let me give my life to you, for I know I can never go back to that life I lived before.

Love has given us wings, and our flight together begins here today. Jennifer, wherever the these wings may carry you, I will stay by your side as your husband. Take this ring as a token of my love.

The first half of my life has been as a man  alone. Today, I leave that life behind and by your side. Today I cross the threshold and enter into a new and lasting commitment to you. To us. Jennifer, from this day forward I give myself to you as your husband.

In the beginning I was afraid of this love, as I have been afraid of many things in my life. It was your wisdom and determination that broke through and saved me. Yes you saved me, and showed me how to love. I owe my happiness to you. I want you to know that I truly love you and will stand by your through any hardship. To others, this ring is just a ring, made of gold, bought at a store. To me it represents my very life and soul. I place it on your finger as a symbol of my devotion to you, from this day forward.

Jennifer, before we met, so many dreams seemed so impossible. Now I know that together, we will become everything we ever dreamed to be, and we will achieve everything we had ever hoped. I thank you for being the person you are, and for giving me the freedom to be the person I am. Let us continue as we have, without judging or trying to change each other, but with the same mutual understanding that has made this relationship one that, I know, will last the rest of our lives.

To marry the person you admire, trust and truly love is the greatest joy I have ever known. I see in you the strength, the character and the sincerity to be the growing partner, the person with whom I can finally share my life with. I used to run away of falling in love, of giving my heart away. I didn’t believe I could trust a woman to love me, to give to me all that I wanted to give to her. Jennifer, when I met you, you have made a believer out of me. You have renewed my life and my soul; today I join my life with yours.

Time will pass, there will be hills; there will be valley. No matter what we may encounter together, I vow that this love will be my only love. From this day forth I make my home in your heart..

Each person’s life is full of many hills and valleys, as it should be. For only if you have been down in the lowest valley, can you fully appreciate what it is to stand on the highest hilltop. Today Robert, I stand with you on the highest hilltop there could ever be. I want you to know that I will remain by your side throughout hills and valleys alike, from this day forward, as your wife.

Robert, you are the one with whom I can share all that I am. Wherever you go, I will go; whatever trials you face in this life, I too will face. In happiness or sadness, come wealth or poverty, I take you as my husband, and offer myself to you and you alone.

I am glad that I have lost myself in you, for it was there that I found my true self. I can never go back to the person I was. Jennifer, It’s so hard to put into words the love that I have for you. When we first met, I knew you could be that one person, that single person, that could change my life. So many others wanted you, and I’m so very grateful that you saw I was sincere. I want you to know that, standing here before you today, I know I am the luckiest man alive.
