Bridal shows are great places to get ideas and meet local wedding-related vendors. Bridal shows are locally oriented. This means that you get to meet bakers, vendors, photographers, hosts and entertainers that are in your area. You might save some time because they're all in one place, you can meet them up front and not have to travel from place to place interviewing them. For this reason, we recommend printing out your lists of questions, bringing your notebook, and going to several bridal shows early in the wedding planning process. Because the best bridal shows are locally organized affairs, it wouldn't make sense to try to list them all here. Your best bet is to go to a search engine and type in "bridal shows", NJ (or whatever state you live in). This will pull up shows in your area. You will also find them advertised in Sunday newspapers and in LOCAL bridal magazines.
