Regsiter 4-6 months before the wedding date. When registering for gifts and dinnerware, you may not yet know your color scheme. Choose white or ivory dinnerware. You can always add accessories of color later on. Check back with the store(s) you registered at about a month before the wedding to make sure that the items you selected are still available and in stock. When you register for china, be sure and ask how long a certain style or line has been available.. and if it may be discontinued anytime soon. If it is a new or trendy design, it may not be there siz months later.
