Las Vegas, a city that never sleeps! The name conjures up visions of
gambling casinos, luxury hotels, and great entertainment, all against a
beautiful desert backdrop. But more than that, it is also a popular
place to marry and honeymoon.
For no-hassle, spontaneous, fun, fantasy-filled weddings, Las Vegas
can’t be beat!
Do you dream about getting hitched in a hot air balloon? Marrying
Western-style on horseback? Re-enacting an old time shotgun wedding?
Maybe you would like Elvis or Shaft to sing to your swooning bride. Or
for a band of pirates to kidnap her and whisk her off to a waiting ship,
where she’ll either marry you or walk the plank! In Vegas, you can
arrange all that and more---or less, for you traditional, romantic
types.
Wedding chapels abound in Las Vegas, as do ministers of all faiths and
practices. There are scores of one-stop places that provide everything
you need, from the license, to the wedding attire, flowers, cake, and
more. Comprehensive packages are available for every imaginable taste
and price range, for both the wedding and the honeymoon.
The legal end of marrying in Las Vegas is uncomplicated as well. There
are no medical exams or blood tests required for the bride and groom.
There are no waiting periods between the time you apply for the license
and the time you can wed.
If this sounds like an ideal place for you to tie the knot and spend a
blissful honeymoon, read just a little farther before you dash off to
the altar. Following is a list of requirements to obtain a Nevada
Marriage License, and the URLs of a few helpful websites to help you
plan the event of a lifetime!
